	The various strategies used in drag racing begin with the car itself. Lester designed and built Dragzilla to be as consistent as possible. Lester and Dragzilla have proven themselves to be a great racing team.

DRAG RACING BASICS
Drag racing basics begin as an acceleration competition from a starting line between two vehicles that are side-by-side over a measured distance. That distance is usually on a standard of � mile, (1,320 ft), or 1/8 mile, (660 ft). The losing driver is eliminated and the winning driver progresses to the next competition drag race until only one driver remains.


This is Dragzilla in its early stages as a race car. This picture was taken in 1991 in the front yard of the house where the famed Dragzilla was born.

This is Lester�s Dragster. His son, Andy, enjoys racing this monster. Andy has been racing with his father for over 10 years and has the same dedication and knowledge of racing as Lester.
